What dimensions does MindSoi measure?
MindSoi measures four archetype dimensions: energy, structure, thinking, and drive, plus a separate resilience pattern. Forty questions contribute to the archetype dimensions and eight additional questions describe resilience. Items are interleaved to reduce repetitive responding.
How is the archetype calculated?
Each response contributes a defined value to one or more scoring dimensions. The same complete set of valid answers produces the same dimension scores and archetype. The calculation is deterministic, and generative AI is not part of the scoring path. Borderline scores should be read as nuance rather than forced certainty.
Does AI choose or change my work archetype?
No. AI may help explain a completed result, ask follow-up questions, or turn a confirmed goal into a small experiment. It cannot alter the calculated scores, diagnose a condition, verify a personal claim, or guarantee a career outcome.
How is MindSoi different from MBTI, 16Personalities, or the Big Five?
MindSoi uses its own work-focused model and emphasizes career-fit hypotheses and practical experiments. It is not MBTI, 16Personalities, or a Big Five assessment, and it has not been independently psychometrically validated. Similar language should not be interpreted as equivalence.
What evidence supports the result?
The result reflects the user's self-reported answers and the published scoring rules. MindSoi has not yet published independent reliability, validity, norming, fairness, or outcome studies. External career sources help explain occupations and responsible exploration, but they do not validate the MindSoi model.
What are the assessment's limitations?
Self-report answers depend on context, mood, interpretation, culture, and self-awareness. Results can support reflection and conversation, but they should not determine hiring, promotion, education, medical care, or other high-stakes decisions.
Version and change history
Methodology version 1.1, reviewed July 18, 2026, clarifies deterministic scoring, separates AI explanation from scoring, expands limitations, and documents the current evidence boundary. Future material scoring changes should receive a new version number and a dated explanation.
